Francesca Brescianini | Seastar Kindergarten Lead Teacher

Francesca was born and raised in Modena, Italy and attended the University of Bologna.  She worked in the classroom in Italy from 1994 to 2010 before moving to the US. She has been with Seacoast Waldorf School since 2012. She completed the Lifeways Early Childhood Certification Training in Rockport, ME in 2015, and the Birth to Seven Certification Program at Sophia’s Hearth in Keene, NH in 2020. She has studied Anthroposophy and Waldorf education with courses at Sunbridge in Chestnut Ridge, NY and at the Center for Anthroposophy in Wilton, NH.  

Francesca lives in Durham, NH with her husband Martin, a teacher at UNH, and her son James, a junior at Oyster River High School, who graduated with the first eighth grade class of Seacoast Waldorf Waldorf School in 2019!  In her free time Francesca loves to knit and spend time in her garden.
