Katie Moore | Periwinkle Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Katie holds BAs in Journalism and French from The University of Georgia. She taught English in France after college, and has worked in early childhood classrooms in India, California and Colorado. Before starting her journey in Waldorf EC Education, Katie was an artist agent in NYC and Europe for ten years. She began her teacher training at The West Coast Institute for Studies in Anthroposophy in Vancouver, BC and transferred last year to Sophia’s Hearth to complete her birth to seven certificate in summer 2025. She feels blessed to be in beautiful Maine and to be part of SWS.
