Sara Crosslin | Handwork Teacher
Sara grew up in Louisiana, where she studied and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Architecture from Louisiana State University. She was originally drawn to Waldorf Education through her love of fibers and Handwork. After receiving her Waldorf Teaching Certificate from Antioch University New England, Sara taught Handwork to grades 1-8 for many years before becoming a grades teacher. Sara joined the Seacoast Waldorf School faculty in 2017.
While Sara loves all things Handwork, she especially enjoys natural dyes, cleaning and processing raw wool and crafting beautiful objects from everyday supplies. Sara lives in Maine with her rescue pup and her son, who was a Waldorf student from kindergarten through 8th grade and now attends Traip Academy in Kittery.
