The Waldorf® curriculum balances academic, artistic, and practical life skills, fostering each child's ability to think with clarity, feel with compassion, and act with purpose and social responsibility in the world.
The Seacoast Waldorf School, formerly Tidewater Waldorf School, opened in 1999 and serves children from the entire Seacoast area of southern Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Enhanced by a highly educated faculty, Seacoast Waldorf School meets each child at their natural stage of development with a highly creative teaching methodology. For the 2014 school year we will be serving preschool through 4th grade and will continue our growth toward eighth grade.
Students are educated using their head, heart and hands blending rigorous academics with fine art, performing arts and experiential learning. Seacoast Waldorf School nurtures a lifetime love of learning for children.
