 Middle School

BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION FOR LIFE

While nurturing and warm, a Seacoast Waldorf School education is also rigorous! By the time students reach middle school, they are sophisticated, focused learners who face an integrated curriculum of math, science, humanities, world languages, movement, and the arts. We prepare students for high school and beyond — where they succeed at an impressive rate, self-advocating, and choosing interesting and unique paths toward purpose-driven professions where they become forces for change in the greater community.

At Seacoast Waldorf School, teenagers learn firsthand the value of strong human connections and powerful artistic expressions as they craft a strong and unique sense of self and an identity they can be proud of.

In Waldorf Education, organized team sports are not introduced until middle school, and even when they are, the focus is less on competition and more on collaboration and skill-building. Students also immerse in a unique cyber civics curriculum about responsible citizenship, both online and in the real world, learning about consent, anatomy, and relationships.
