Paula Pelletier | Educational Support Coordinator

Paula holds a B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Social Work and Counseling from Franklin Pierce College. After working in the Mental Health field for several years, she married and had two children. Paula was able to stay home and raise her children while running a small home-based daycare. She began working at the local elementary school, while her children were enrolled there, as Title One Reading Tutor/Special Education Paraprofessional. This rekindled her passion for teaching, and she returned to school, obtaining her Dual Certification in General Education and Special Education.

In 2008, Paula left teaching in the public forum to meet the needs of students and their families privately. She opened P.J. Pelletier Special Education Advocacy and Tutoring to provide students and families the support needed to navigate the Special Education system and to work individually with students.  In 2016, Paula accepted the role of Educational Support Coordinator for Seacoast Waldorf Schools in order to assist SWS in meeting the diverse needs of those enrolled.

While her work keeps her busy, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Paula is happily married with two grown children. In her free time, Paula enjoys being outdoors- gardening, biking, hiking, snow shoeing, etc. Her family has a small camp in Anson, Maine where they are currently building their forever home.
