Nursery Program

For children ages 2.5 years old (by September 1st) – 4 years old, our classrooms introduce the child to their first school experience with a caring, rhythmical environment adhering to the Waldorf curriculum for early childhood education.  We use materials and furnishings that are beautiful, all-natural, home-like, and classically Waldorf.  Our teachers gracefully guide the children into this gentle transition with tenderness and reverence.

Our rich play-based program nourishes the magic of childhood by allowing children to explore the world through all their senses, stimulating their creativity through free play and storytelling, and developing both their motor skills and burgeoning sense of confidence through the practical arts.

We offer three options:

  • 3-day half or full-day program ( Beach Pea Nursery)

  • 4-day half or full-day program ( Sandpiper Nursery)

  • 5-day half or full-day program ( Piping Plover Nursery)

Mornings are 8:30 am — 12:00 pm and full days are from 8:30 am - 3 pm with the option of Extended Day Care until 5:30 p.m.

Children do not need to be toilet trained.
