Maureen has been with the SWS community since 2016. She comes here with many years of experience in the textile arts as a quilt maker and quilt shop owner. She has taught quilting to children and adults. Maureen brings a willingness to learn, share and create with the wonderful students. She loves sharing fiber arts to the campers in her Fiber Arts Camps.

Martha Coombs | Movement Teacher

Martha grew up on a farm in the Seacoast area. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education (Kinesiology) as well as her Master’s of Education in Early Childhood Education, Special Needs from the University of New Hampshire. Sara Crosslin | Handwork Teacher

Sara grew up in Louisiana, where she studied and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Architecture from Louisiana State University. She was originally drawn to Waldorf Education through her love of fibers and Handwork. After receiving her Waldorf Teaching Certificate from Antioch University New England, Sara taught Handwork to grades 1-8 for many years before becoming a grades teacher.

Bronwyn grew up on a farm in upstate New York. After the opportunity to complete her last two years of High School in Tilton, New Hampshire, Bronwyn remained in New Hampshire and attended the University of New Hampshire where she graduated  with a  Bachelors in Science in Therapeutic Recreation and went on to earn a Masters in Education.

Dennis Drennan | Grade 7/8 Teacher

Dennis attended Anderson University in Indiana where he earned a BA in History and Art and Design. After graduation he worked as a journalist for a small, local paper in Maine and began substituting in local public schools, where his love of working with children began. Frieda Kat | Grade 3/4 Teacher

Frieda spent most of her childhood in a small town outside of Nairobi, Kenya. Her mother was a teacher and her father continued his studies in genetics and following various species in the wild. Frieda graduated from Smith College with a Bachelors in Psychology. She traveled after college for many years and landed in Brooklyn, NY for 8 years working in the hospitality business and various internships in photography.

Molly Larson | Sandpiper Nursery Assistant Teacher

Molly grew up in the Seacoast and attended Lesley University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy, and a minor in Education. Molly has previously worked at Philip’s Exeter Academy’s Harris Family Children’s Center, Connections for Kids, and as a Personal Caregiver for elderly and disabled clients. Though she has spent her career caring for people along the full spectrum of life, she always finds her way back to early childhood.
